Wickedly Deviant strives to not only offer the highest quality services but to keep our pricing simple. Let's be honest, you just finished writing an entire book - you deserve for these next steps to be as painless as possible.

(All of our services are available for any fiction genre with the exception of children's books and graphic novels.)
Á La Carte Pricing
  • Beta Reading: $0.75 per 1,000 words (Includes a full read through and completion of any post reading questionnaire you provide or notes of our own on a form created by us.) ~5 business days for this service.
  • Developmental Editing: $12 per 1,000 words (Includes a full read through for the purpose of evaluating flow, context, transition, content, and anything else to help ensure that the storytelling experience you are attempting to convey in your book is coming through. Notes will be given - at each occurrence - with advice , suggestions, etc. using MS Word Markup.) ~10 business days for this service.
  • Line Editing: $9 per 1,000 words (Includes a full read through with corrections of any spelling, grammar, punctuation, and tense errors. Notes will be given - at each occurrence - with advice, suggestions, etc. using MS Word Markup.) ~10 business days for this service.
  • Standard Formatting: $300 (Includes full formatting for both print and eBooks that are mostly text and include few pictures/media.) ~10 business days for this service.
  • Formatting with Tables: $400 (Includes full formatting for both print and eBooks that include Standard Formatting plus tables.) ~10 business days for this service.
  • Special Formatting: $400 (Includes full formatting for both print and eBooks that include Standard Formatting plus embellishments and/or media heavy.) ~10 business days for this service.
  • Proofreading: $7 per 1,000 words (This is the last edit to find any errors missed during the editing process as well as to make sure the formatting in consistent. We will be looking for any broken lines or paragraphs, consistent paragraph indents, correct graphics placement, page numbers, etc.) ~10 business days for this service.
  • Cover Design: $350 (Includes a custom cover, back, and spine for both print and eBooks. Plus audiobook cover.) ~10 business days for this service. *We do not use AI for our designs.

Bundle and Save with one of our Packages
(All packages include Beta Reading)

Black Texture
Editing: $16 per 1,000 words (Includes both Developmental and Line Editing - also known as two-pass editing. First we will do the Developmental portion and then return the file back to you to make any changes you choose from our notes. Once finished, you will return the revised manuscript for the Line Editing process where we will correct any spelling, grammar, punctuation, and tense issues found in the entire manuscript. All notes, suggestions, corrections will be in MS Word Markup for you to read, accept/reject.) ~10 business days for this service for each pass. Savings of $5.75 per 1,000 words.
Format & Design: $550 (Includes both Standard Formatting and Cover Design services and audiobook covers) ~10 business days for this service for each portion. Add $100 for Table and Special Formatting. Savings of $100 for Standard Formatting plus $0.75 per 1,000 words.
All Inclusive: $500 + $18 per 1,000 words (Includes both packages listed above as well as our Beta Reading and Proofreading services.) ~10 business days for this service for each portion. Savings of $150 + $10.75 per 1,000 words.

Wickedly Deviant Publishing understands that author support services can slow down your ability to publish your book due to financial reasons. We want to help you get your book to the readers as quickly as possible; therefore, we offer the following flexible and customized payment plans to fit any budget:

  • Interest free monthly payments: 3, 6, 9 ,12, and 18 month payment plans.

  • We'll work with you on a down payment that works with your budget.
